My mind is always at work, seeking new ways to merge science, technology, and community engagement. I have developed digital solutions to enhance environmental tracking, improve waste management efficiency, and promote climate resilience. My innovative thinking has bridged the gap between research and real-world application so far, ensuring that environmental solutions are not just theoretical but practical and scalable.

My roles and contributions in various Organizations
Mathare River Regeneration Network (MRRN)
As an environmental reporter and key contributor to the network, I play a crucial role in documenting and advocating for the restoration of Mathare River. My work includes producing newsletters/ monthly bulletins, creating content for the network’s website, and raising awareness on urban river regeneration. I have also been actively involved in community engagement initiatives such as the Football for Plastic League and the Mathare River Future design Basecamp in coporation with World Waternet and the Embassy of the Earth.
Luckysummer Environmental & Waste Management
I Served as the Chairperson and Environmental Consultant, being instrumental in shaping LEWMO into a green enterprise. My leadership has focused on waste management innovations, job creation for youth, and strengthening community participation in environmental conservation. I have also played a significant role in making the Sacco for members operational, integrating financial empowerment with sustainable practices. Additionally, I developed the organization website streamline operations and improve engagement.
Mto Wangu Initiative
I was a key player in the Mathare Floods Relief and Resilience Initiative, participating in multiple Community Dialogue Sessions on Risk Assessment across Mathare. My contributions include mapping flood-affected areas, advocating for better water resource management, and pushing for the formation of a Mathare River Water Resources Users Association (WRUA). This work has helped highlight key issues such as inadequate sanitation, eviction risks, and the need for community-driven disaster preparedness. The initiative was supported by the High Commission of Canada to Kenya in partnership with UN Habitat and implemented by Mto Wangu Initiative.
Egerton University Environmental Association
As Secretary General (2023-2024), I provided strategic leadership in organizing events, fostering environmental awareness, and strengthening partnerships between students and external stakeholders. I helped in planning the Egerton climate summit held on March 15, 2024, an environmental summit aimed at inspiring action for environmental stewardship. During my tenure, my advocacy efforts and regular engagements helped increase the student membership and marked by efforts to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world environmental challenges, empowering students to engage in meaningful sustainability initiatives.
